Unlock the success of your business with “Authentic Communication in the Sales Process”!

Every entrepreneur must sell, but we aren’t all natural salesmen and we don’t want to be seen as a smarmy stereotypical salesman in a polyester suit. Instead, be authentic. People buy when they know, like, and trust you.

Join us for this hands-on workshop where we will guide you through the art of authentic communication in the sales process. You will learn and practice to effectively present your product or service to address your customers’ needs, including:

  • What is the sales process;
  • What is authentic communication and how can you really listen and inquire deeply;
  • What is the customer’s mindset at each stage and how to communicate to that mindset;
  • How to uncover the needs and desires of your potential customers;
  • What are social personality types and how to authentically communicate between them.

The Goal:  Leave your customer better off for having met you and sales will follow.

Our experienced facilitator, Barbara Dawson from Purple Mulch, will share valuable insights and practical strategies that will transform your approach to sales and set you on the path to success.

Our Facilitator, Barbara Dawson

Barbara has been involved with the community as a leader in a number of civic organizations. Particularly Toastmasters International, the National Association of Women Business Owners and a local gardening group as a master gardener.

27 years ago, Barbara & her husband embarked on a direct sales business as a function of her husband’s chiropractic practice using nutritional supplements. The knowledge she shares is a direct result of her thousands of conversations and successful business practices she has established. Barbara teaches from experience and what works.

Barbara teaches and coaches small business, start ups and established businesses a course called Authentic Communication through the Sales Process to help people communicate better and improve the know, like and trust relationships in business. Barbara currently teaches sales skills at UNM Anderson School of Management.

Cost: 

  • FREE thanks to funding from the City of Albuquerque’s Economic Development Department.
  • However, you must register.

  • Attendance is limited to 25.

Date & Time: This is a two-day workshop, plus an optional coaching session.
